Credit Review is a critical component of effective governance and risk oversight, but audit committees need to understand more than the results of the review itself. This session will take a deeper look at the Credit Review function, including its role in providing independent insight into credit quality, risk management, and organizational performance. Participants will explore the questions audit committees should be asking to strengthen their oversight, as well as considerations related to outsourcing Credit Review functions. Through practical discussion, directors will gain greater clarity around how to engage with Credit Review findings and use the information presented to support informed governance and sound decision-making.
