Biography

Ricardo is a Principal in Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Risk & Financial Advisory practice, he has over 25 years of experience serving the financial services industry.

Ricardo serves as the Financial Services Sustainability and Climate Risk Leader for Deloitte in the US, helping global financial institutions navigate complex and evolving ESG expectations and regulations. This role serves as a natural extension to his focus on large and complex industry transformations that require a combination of risk, compliance, analytics, technology and business understanding.

Ricardo recently contributed to FCS’ sustainability efforts, as a lead engagement partner for the creation of the ESG Toolkit.

Ricardo holds a Master of Sciences degree in Statistics and Financial Engineering from New York University’s Stern School of Business, as well as PRM, FRM and SCR certifications awarded by PRMIA and GARP.
