Biography

Ryan Gibson is the Cyber Risk Director at FCCS, a role he has held since January 2026. Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, Ryan brings over two decades of hands-on cybersecurity experience to the position.

Ryan's career began in 2002 with the United States Navy, where he built the foundation of his cybersecurity expertise. In 2009, he transitioned to the corporate sector, holding roles at Qualcomm, BlackBerry, and Deloitte before joining FCCS.

Across his career, Ryan has worked in nearly every discipline within cybersecurity: from Reverse Engineering and Incident Response to Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management. That breadth of experience gives him a rare, full-spectrum perspective on the challenges Farm Credit organizations face today.

Ryan holds a wide range of industry certifications spanning both Cyber Insurance (CCSE, CCIS) and Cybersecurity (CISSP, GREM, GCFA, GCIH, Security+).
