Biography

Lisa X. Walden is a speaker, strategist, and consultant dedicated to helping businesses create authentic, empowering workplaces that don't inspire the dreaded Sunday scaries. Her presentations deliver action-oriented insights that help people better connect, collaborate, and communicate.

Lisa's presentations are part validation, part inspiration, and part tough-love. Never one to accept the concept of "because this is the way things have always been done she's dedicated her career to asking "but why?" She loves distilling complex topics into easily digestible concepts, and offering audiences tactical tools they can put into action the very next day.

Before co-founding Good Company Consulting, Lisa worked as a consultant and speaker for a generational consulting firm. She brings that consultative approach to every client engagement, and aims to create a tailored and distinct experience to each project and presentation. Having studied people at work for over a decade, she embraces and advocates for the value of those tough conversations, tempered of course with compassion and deep care.

Lisa is an up-and-coming keynote speaker and future of work trendspotter. She has worked with a broad range of clients and organizations including tech, finance, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, government, hospitality, and more. Past clients include SAP, Texas A&M, HP, American Rental Association, PayTech Women, and Lamar Advertising.

Lisa co-authored Managing Millennials for Dummies in 2017 with her cofounder and business partner Hannah Ubl. They recently released The Future of Work is Human, a book that takes a closer look at how the pandemic will forever change the way we work and lead.
