Biography

Melissa began her career at GreenStone in 2004 as a credit trainee. She soon transferred to the position of financial services officer, and later to senior financial services officer within the St. Johns branch. In 2014 she was promoted to Regional Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations for the West Region and in November of 2022 accepted the position of SVP-Regional Sales.

A graduate of Michigan State University (MSU), Humphrey earned a Bachelor of Science in agribusiness management. Also, she completed the Great Lakes Leadership Academy program at MSU in June 2015. And in June of 2019, she completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

Melissa grew up on a family dairy and cash crop farm in Michigan and continues to live there today. Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, a dairy herdsman, and their two sons, Ethan and Drew. When they are not actively promoting Michigan Agriculture, they are spending time at the lake or cheering on the Michigan State Spartans. Go Green!
