Michael Anderson, Operations Risk Program Manager - Michael Anderson began his banking career in 1986 as a loan officer and branch manager for East Carolina Farm Credit Services in Greenville, North Carolina (aka, AgCarolina, ACA). In 1988, he joined the Farm Credit Administration as an associate examiner in the Denver Field Office. In 1992, he successfully completed FCA’s commissioning program and has served as examiner-in-charge for many System institutions and service corporations. In 1997, Michael passed the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination and was designated as an FCA Certified Information System Examiner. In addition to his work within examination, Michael has contributed to numerous Agency workgroups and special projects and currently serves as Program Manager for the Operations Risk Program within the Office of Examination.
Michael is a 1986 graduate of North Carolina State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business Management. He is also an Eagle Scout and Level II Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International. Born and raised in Pine Level, North Carolina, Michael and his family reside in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Fun Fact: Michael’s son, Zachary, graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and is currently pursuing a music career as the lead guitarist for the band “The Dreaded Laramie”.
