Speaking Plain English: A Conversation on Advancing Risk Management

This session will provide an overview of the elements of a modern risk function and how they can enable financial institutions to elevate risk management from a functional capability to an enterprise responsibility that permeates the entire organization. It will also allow participants to hear from their Farm Credit System peers on practical strategies they’ve employed to advance their risk management programs.

Learner Outcomes:

1. Be able to discuss the key elements and capabilities of modern risk management programs
2. Better understand the challenges of and potential roadblocks to advancing risk management capabilities.
3. Attendees will be able to understand practical techniques to modernize their organization’s risk management capabilities
