AI for Leaders: From Better Prompts to Better Decisions

Tuesday, August 25, 2026

3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Most professionals are still using AI like a search tool, asking a question and getting an answer. This session is designed to help leaders move beyond that limited view and understand how AI can be used as a practical work partner for clearer thinking, stronger communication, better brainstorming, and smarter decision support. Designed for professionals across appraisal, credit, risk, and audit, this session will show how to interact with AI more effectively through better prompting, conversational use, and stronger context-setting. It will also provide a practical look at where AI is heading as tools become more agentic and action-oriented. The session will briefly address the difference between consumer AI and enterprise-safe AI use in regulated environments, while keeping the focus on practical application rather than platform-specific training.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  1. Distinguish between basic AI use and more effective AI interaction, including prompting, conversation, and context-setting.
  2. Apply practical techniques such as reverse prompting and conversational prompting to improve AI output quality and usefulness.
  3. Describe how AI can support brainstorming, scenario analysis, and leadership-level decision support across professional roles.
  4. Recognize the shift from question-and-answer AI to more agentic AI systems that assist with multi-step tasks and workflow support.
