Motivation to the realities of training and professional growth. We’ll discuss timelines for development, what strategies have proven effective—and which haven’t—while addressing retention challenges for newly licensed appraisers. Participants will share insights into what employees value most in their roles and organizations, identify key challenges and opportunities in the field, and reflect on priorities for future development. The session will conclude with practical advice for appraisal leadership to foster a supportive, forward-thinking environment that meets both organizational and individual needs.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  1. Gain firsthand insight into the real-world experiences, challenges, and motivations of early-career appraisers who have recently worked through the recruitment, training, and licensure process.
