Audit’s ability to deliver valuable recommendations starts with identifying issues and accurately diagnosing why they occurred. This session builds a practical foundation in root cause analysis through structured questioning techniques and real-world scenarios across IT, operations, and credit/loan review. Participants will learn to distinguish symptoms from true drivers, then explore practical approaches to strengthen how auditors document their analysis, communicate results, and drive accountability and action.
