Wednesday, August 26, 2026

9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

THIS year’s priorities are not LAST year’s priorities. As Credit Stress increases (or decreases) the strategy and administration of credit management has to adapt to the changing focus needed at your Association. This session will discuss how to have a dynamic strategy on managing throughout the entire credit cycle and ensuring that you have the resources and tools needed when material credit stress arises. This includes how to incorporate a broader association strategy and focus as you increasingly work across departments to meet your changing borrower needs. Come and listen to long-time credit professionals talk about how they create and adapt their credit management strategies to build a lasting culture that provides strength to their association throughout the entire credit cycle.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  1. Learn how to build lasting strategies for credit management no matter the level of credit stress
  2. Build the network between departments needed to manage changing borrower needs
  3. Develop tools to understand and manage pockets of stress and how to communicate to your association management team, boards and outside agencies
  4. Identify ways to proactively prepare your organizations for changes in the credit cycle
