Tools for fun or for getting appraisal work done?

Past conferences have been future focused, introducing cutting edge technologies during the appraisal breakout sessions. This year, we will check in with some associations that have implemented technologies that were discussed at previous Risk 360 breakouts. Join us as we hear from two farm credit associations who have introduced new technologies that were only theories a few years ago. Specifically, we’ll revisit a 2017 discussion of using drones for chattel and real estate inspections and a 2024 discussion relating to the use of artificial intelligence in appraisal.

Learner Outcomes:

1. Understand the use cases for unmanned aircraft system in evaluating farm credit collateral.
2. Explore the FAA drone regulations that exist and who is required to follow them?
3. Understand the business use cases for developing artificial intelligence software to review appraisal reports.
4. Review the process of development of AI implementation.
5. Understand the costs, maintenance, operational policies and structural changes that were required to support this program.
