Whistleblower Hotline: Effective Programs and Response Procedures

Attorney Sarah Batson will provide guidance on best practices and processes for maintaining an effective whistleblower program, preserving employee confidence in the program, responding appropriately to reports, conducting investigations, mitigating institution risk, and preparing for disruptive and unexpected situations. Attorney Batson will also address how to navigate an appropriate response to reports of fraud in the organization and how that approach may require additional or different steps in response.

  1. Using hypotheticals and examples, attendees will walk away with practical guidance in maintaining an effective whistleblower program and preparing to encounter challenges in the program.
