Utilizing RCSAs to Help Operationalize Risk Appetite

This session explores the opportunity to leverage Risk & Control Self-Assessments (“RCSAs”) as a mechanism to operationalize your Board’s Risk Appetite Statements. Participants will gain insights related to the objectives of RCSAs, identification of Must Achieve and Must Avoid Outcomes, application of your Board’s risk appetite, and potential ways to get started. By connecting your Board’s Risk Appetite Statements into the RCSA process, organizations are able to provide greater connection between high-level risk statements to the organization’s control environment.

  2. Understanding how Risk Appetite Statements can be connected to RCSAs.
