John graduated from Fresno State University and began working in production agriculture, joining Farm Credit as an appraiser in 1983. He went on to Central Valley Farm Credit and eventually American AgCredit. His appraisal roles included assignments across numerous states with his teams appraising diversified properties throughout California. In 2018 he assisted in developing a Chattel Evaluation Services team serving a highly diversified customer base across the US. He was then appointed Head of Chattel Evaluation Services. In 1991 he received his state license and ASFMRA’s ARA designation and later assisted with development of appraisal curriculum and has taught appraisers nationwide. He also developed an agricultural appraisal course during his tenure at Fresno State. He assisted in the development of ASFMRA’a on-demand chattel training and serves on their Appraisal Education/Accreditation Committee. John retired from American AgCredit and will continue serving chattel professionals in developing educational and advancement opportunities. He has three married children and eight grandchildren.
