In January 2020 Barry joined CoBank after over 30 years with the Farm Credit Administration. He served the FCA as an examiner in its Omaha and Denver field offices before transferring to the headquarters in McLean Virginia. Most recently Barry served as the deputy director of FCA’s Office of Regulatory Policy which is responsible for the Agency’s regulatory and policy-making agenda and other programs. At CoBank Barry is serving as SVP Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Privacy Officer where he is responsible for providing guidance to all bank programs for compliance with applicable regulatory policy. He also provides input to bank strategic and operational matters and manages the bank’s relationship with the FCA and other external stakeholders. Barry received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and resides in Aurora Colorado with his wife Janine after raising three sons.
