Joseph joined Crowe in 2010 out of DePaul University with his CPA, and has built deep specialization in Commercial Banking, Mortgage Banking, Credit Unions and Farm Credit System Entities. Joseph leads the Specialty Finance market segment for Consulting Financial Services, as a result of his leadership with the Farm Credit System, which he is the firm’s SME.
Joseph is responsible for managing internal audit engagements including performing risk assessments, overseeing the scoping, planning and execution of fieldwork, and reporting of audit results. Joseph also performs FDICIA/SOx-related activities such as key control identification, and evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness. During his over 13 years at Crowe, Joe has also built expertise in technical internal audit areas including Allowance for Loan Losses, Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Trust Operations (including Trust SOC engagements).
