Miranda Verkamp serves as Senior Vice President of Internal Audit and Credit Review for Capital Farm Credit, where she leads the association's independent audit and credit review functions. With more than 15 years of experience in agricultural lending and credit administration, Miranda spent much of her career as a Senior Credit Officer supporting row crop and cattle producers across Texas. Miranda brings experience in credit risk management, portfolio oversight, and agricultural finance, providing a practical perspective on governance, risk, and operational effectiveness within the Farm Credit System. Growing up in an agricultural community and marrying into a farming family, she is passionate about serving rural America and telling the Farm Credit story.
