#2B-EMERGING INTERESTS: Board's Role in Technology Transformation
Paul Lindow is a senior financial executive with almost 40 years of experience assisting/serving financial services organizations, a higher education university and a nonprofit independent school in managing risk, ensuring financial management excellence and enhancing digital transformation initiatives. He has extensive experience in serving large complex organizations in the areas of risk management, internal audit, finance, digital and governance – advising on regulatory remediation initiatives, building/enhancing risk, compliance and internal audit programs. He also brings extensive corporate governance experience through his work with corporate boards, audit and finance committees, and advisory boards and is qualified to serve on an audit committee as a financial expert.
He is a member of the GreenStone Farm Credit Services Board of Directors, where he also serves as its Audit Committee Chairman and designated financial expert. Additionally, he is a member of The Grosse Pointe Academy Board of Trustees, where he is the President (previous Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair) and a member of the Teach for America – Teach Michigan Regional Advisory Board. Also, Paul is a past member of the Michigan State University College of Business Advisory Board.
Paul received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and is a graduate from the University of Washington Pacific Coast Banking School. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Public Accountant in Michigan and California and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
