Biography

Heather has lived in northeastern Connecticut since graduating from Cornell University with a major in animal science and a minor in agricultural business management. Born in the Midwest, Heather now calls New England home. Currently, she and her husband own and operate a 30+ acre horse farm that has been in the family for more than 60 years. Her love for agriculture and living in the country has translated beautifully into her work as Regional Marketing Leader at Country Living Loans. Most of Heather's free time is spent with their young son and daughter, but she also finds time to contribute as Chairperson for Celebrating Agriculture, a member of her hometown’s Board of Finance, and coaching volleyball, t-ball, soccer, or whatever her kids are involved with at the time. Being involved in agriculture and living in the country herself helps Heather understand the challenges of rural living and drives her to make dreams of living in the country come true.
