Biography

Kayla Clark is a Relationship Manager at Rural 1st, the consumer lending division of Farm Credit Mid-America. She began her career with the association as a Consumer Loan Officer before Rural 1st was born, where she grew the Utica, Ohio branch business from $5 million annually to consistently originating $25 million within just a few years. In 2021, she began dedicating her time to supporting the Farm Credit Services of America/Frontier Farm Credit and Farm Credit Illinois partnerships, spanning 6 states. In her current role, her focus is to improve and solution for the loan officer and borrower experience across Rural 1st partner markets.

Recognized as a trailblazer for Rural 1st, her experience in direct-to-consumer sales, in addition to being raised on the family beef operation, jumpstarted her entrepreneurial streak that has led to her success today. In her spare time, she and her husband operate two additional customer-centric businesses in northeast Ohio and spend time outdoors with their two small boys.

Kayla earned her bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Applied Economics from The Ohio State University and is in the final stages of her MBA studies.
