Synergies Unveiled: The Strategic Value of Collaborative Financial Services

Competitive advantage. Value-add. Building loyalty.

These phrases are all common in describing the role of financial services within the Farm Credit System. Over the years, some associations have invested heavily in developing the competencies to provide a wide variety of services including crop insurance, tax preparation, consulting, and many others.

The purpose of this discussion is to hear from a few ACA’s on their approach to financial services and to have a discussion around the benefits and risks of building the competency from within, collaborating with other ACA’s, or finding value-add partners outside of the organization.

Learner Outcomes:

1. Yield a better understanding on system collaboration.
2. Hear success stories between Associations on building partnerships and alliances throughout the Farm Credit System.
3. Learn about the different approaches Associations are taking to broaden their product offerings and engage the customer all in an effort to enhance the overall customer experience.
