Biography

Megan Milbourne brings more than five years of experience within the Farm Credit System, with a career defined by diverse roles and a deep commitment to culture, engagement, and cooperative impact. She began her journey as a Loan Officer with RiverValley AgCredit before moving to Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit, where she played a key role during the merger that formed Horizon Farm Credit. It was there that Megan helped design and launch the organization’s Employee Experience Manager role, a position she held for more than three years. In that capacity, she led enterprise-wide engagement strategies, strengthened organizational culture, and developed a strategic vision centered on meaningful employee and member connection.

In September 2025, Megan joined AgTrust Farm Credit as Human Capital Manager, where she leads the Human Resources function and positions HR as a true strategic business partner. She works closely with leadership to ensure the cooperative mission is embedded in daily operations and decision-making. Passionate about the “Next Gen” shift in workplace values, Megan focuses on purpose-driven engagement, leadership development, and intentional communication, bringing cooperative identity to life in visible, practical, and actionable ways across the organization.
