Jonathan F. Almond serves as Director of Special Assets for AgSouth Farm Credit, bringing more than 25 years of experience within the Farm Credit System, including over 14 years in special assets management. He leads the Association’s efforts related to non-earning assets, distressed loan restructuring, rights of first refusal, and Credit Review Committee activities. Jonathan works closely with lending and credit teams to manage special mention and substandard loans while supporting sound credit and risk management practices.
He serves on AgSouth’s Executive Credit Committee and Risk Management Committee and is a leader within the District Special Assets Group. Through these roles, he helps advance credit strategies and portfolio management practices that support the Association’s financial strength and customer success.
Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Poultry Science with a concentration in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
