Michael Thomas is the Chief Data Scientist at Ketchbrook Analytics, a New England-based data science consulting firm. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Mathematics from Stonehill College, and an M.S. in Business Intelligence & Analytics from Saint Joseph’s University. Prior to founding Ketchbrook Analytics in 2019, Michael served as the lead Data Scientist at Farm Credit East, after starting his career at BlumShapiro (now CliftonLarsonAllen) as a technology consultant. At Ketchbrook, Michael leads their team of data scientists and data engineers to develop and validate predictive credit risk models, as well as build automated data pipelines, web applications, and cloud services. Michael holds certifications from SAS in Business Intelligence and RStudio in Data Science Education. He is highly versed in the R, Python, and SQL programming languages, and specializes in user-centered design of any data product (report, dashboard, application, API, etc.) that Ketchbrook develops for its clients.
