Biography

Carrie's 25-year agricultural marketing and communications career spans non-profit commodity promotion with The Beef Checkoff, new business development with an advertising agency and the launch of her family's artisan cheese business. A sixth-generation dairy farmer’s daughter, Carrie’s Farm Credit story began in 1977 when a Farm Credit loan helped her dad and grandfather expand their facilities. During her 4-H years, the local Farm Credit bought Carrie's pigs at the county fair helping fund her Penn State education. Her eight years with Farm Credit includes leadership in both marketing and customer experience. Today, Carrie manages Horizon Farm Credit's voice-of-customer and customer engagement programs.
