Mary Morgan has recently been appointed as VP Tax and Accounting for Compeer Financial. In this role, she is responsible for developing and managing Compeer's Tax and Accounting Team, focusing on strategic direction to support business growth and profitability in these client focused services. Her position aims to create a performance-driven environment that aligns with Compeer’s culture and objectives.
Previously, as Director of New Markets, Mary co-led a team dedicated to exploring and expanding marketplace opportunities through innovative program and product development. She also oversaw program strategy for Young, Beginning, and Small Farmers.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and an MBA from Illinois State University. With over 26 years of experience in the Farm Credit system, she began her career at 1st Farm Credit Services, taking on various roles in finance, loan accounting, and reporting. She joined Compeer Financial in 2017, collaborating across the organization in areas such as risk management and audit. In 2023, she took on the New Markets role before accepting her current position as VP of Tax and Accounting in May 2025.
Mary has been a member of Compeer’s Enterprise Risk Management Committee and currently serves on the Data Governance Council.
