Scott Binder is a seasoned executive that has led teams for over 30 years. After launching his career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen, Scott quickly grew responsibility in a dynamic cable television industry. After gaining his first general management role with Time Warner Cable in in his mid-20’s, Scott’s career took off with seven promotions in 14 years. By his early 40’s, Scott led over 3,000 people and a $2 billion/year revenue business for Comcast’s Mountain Region.
Scott made the successful transition to become a CEO of Denver-based FCCS in 2011. FCCS is a 50-year-old, diversified business consulting company supporting the Farm Credit System and many large agribusiness companies, providing leadership development and captive insurance services. After leading eight years of rapid growth and profitability at FCCS, Scott accepted the role of COO at one of the largest clients, Farm Credit Services of America (FCSA), an ag lending bank with more than $45B in loans and 1900 teammates. At FCSA, Scott led everything from Covid response to merger efforts, generating a combination that grew the company by over 30%.
Scott now invests in coaching clients and leadership teams to deliver amazing results—in their career, at home, and in their physical fitness.
Outside of work, Scott is blessed with a marriage to Teresa of over 35 years. They raised an active and faithful family of three adult children—Kelli, Joe, and Bridget. When family and work have not won the competition for his time, Scott has been a competitive endurance athlete. He was crowned the World’s Fittest CEO in 2007, winning the CEO Challenge at the Hawaii Ironman World Championship, one of his six finishes in Kona. He has also competed multiple times in the Leadville 100 MTB race and the American Birkebeiner XC ski race.
