The SystemX Project: A New Model for Connection, Innovation, and Shared Insight

FCCS is proud to introduce SystemX: Where Strategy, Technology, and System Collaboration Meet—a bold new experience designed to bring together leaders from across the Farm Credit System to explore what’s next in strategy, innovation, and technology.

Date: April 7-8, 2026

Location: The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation

Detroit, MI

Cost: $1,900

SystemX will serve as an FCCS signature event, a curated space for collaborative problem-solving, AI exploration, and strategic foresight. Designed specifically for System leaders, it’s a place where strategists, technologists, and innovators come together to engage in candid conversation, shared learning, and forward-thinking dialogue.

“SystemX represents what FCCS does best - connecting the System, facilitating dialogue, and helping leaders move from ideas to action,” said Chad Moller, President and CEO of FCCS. “It’s more than an event—it’s a platform for sharing and shaping the future together.”

A Curated Space for System Transformation

SystemX is built around five powerful pillars that define its purpose and impact:

1. Insight Curation & Signal Sharing – Surfacing and amplifying key trends, innovations, and success stories from across the System and beyond.

2. Collaborative Problem-Solving – Engaging leaders in workshops and scenario planning to turn insight into action.

3. Acceleration & Adaption – Exploring AI, automation, and next-generation tools that drive faster, smarter decision-making.

4. Future-Ready Talent & Culture – Developing the leadership capabilities and workforce mindsets needed for transformation.

5. Strategic Partnerships & System Synergy – Strengthening collaboration both within the System and with external innovation partners.

“We designed SystemX to reflect the kind of learning and collaboration the future demands,” said Jean Cantey Segal, FCCS Chief Learning Officer. “It’s experiential, forward-looking, and rooted in the shared intelligence of the Farm Credit community.”

Not a Conference—An Experience

Unlike traditional conferences, SystemX is a facilitated experience centered on connection, exploration, and momentum. It’s not about lectures or product showcases—it’s about shared thinking, cross-System problem-solving, and co-creating the future of financial services and ag lending.

Through Integrated Core Experiences, participants will engage in unique formats such as:

Shared Signals: Curated showcases of innovations and digital pilots from across the System.

System Sentiment Mapping: Real-time pulse checks on collective priorities and emerging opportunities.

Guided Futures Thinking: Scenario labs designed to stretch strategic thinking.

Idea Activation: Rapid problem-solving sprints that transform insights into actionable next steps.

“We’re creating an environment where innovation feels tangible,” added Segal. “Where leaders can see what’s possible, test new ideas, and build shared solutions that accelerate progress for everyone.”

A Carefully Curated Audience

The inaugural SystemX event, planned for early April 2026 (location coming soon), will convene a diverse mix of leaders—CEOs, CIOs, innovation and strategy executives, HR and learning leaders, and cross-system collaborators. Each will bring unique perspectives on how technology, people, and strategy intersect to shape the System’s next chapter.

Looking Ahead

The planning process for SystemX is already underway, supporting and amplifying a connected, future-ready Farm Credit System, utilizing a steering committee of System leaders in the areas of HR, technology, innovation and strategy.

SystemX captures the spirit of FCCS’ role as a strategic convener and trusted partner—facilitating meaningful connections and future-focused collaboration across the System.
