FCCS is proud to be designated as a Great Place to Work, an international recognition of its empowering culture and employee development philosophy, which translates to robust and innovative thinking and enthusiastic commitment to serving client needs.
“The route to any business success lies with employee performance, and a positive workplace environment is vital to that performance,” says Chad Moller, FCCS CEO. “Designation as a Great Place to Work underscores the success of our concentrated efforts to build a culture where our employees feel supported and thriving in their careers and are consequently highly effective in delivering services and solutions for our clients.”
Great Place to Work is a global authority on workplace culture, having assessed 21,000 companies with 20 million employees. The certification process includes a 60-question employee survey covering 25 key parameters of organizational culture.
“The survey itself was another avenue for our team members to express their feelings about working at FCCS, complementing the pulse and other surveys we conduct throughout the year,” says Chad. “The results help highlight where our employee initiatives are strongest and where we can continue to make improvements to further enhance our culture.”
FCCS’ overall results were impressive: achieving certification requires a 65% positive score; FCCS employees responded with 90% positive scores, with 93% of employees responding. The top two scoring parameters were having special and unique benefits and delivering exceptional customer service.
In addition to providing employee feedback and actionable insights for FCCS to continue enhancing organizational culture, Great Place to Work certification enhances FCCS’ brand and ability to attract and retain top talent.
“Great Place to Work certification demonstrates to our employees and potential employees that we’re committed to creating and maintaining a positive work environment,” says Jessica Ricciardi, FCCS Human Resources Director. “It identifies us as a top echelon organization for both employee and customer commitment, and that will enable us to attract top-level professional candidates.”
FCCS’ focus on its own organizational culture aligns closely with the services and solutions it provides:
• Employee engagement surveys: Client-specific and FCCS’ annual national engagement surveys provide actionable insights into current-state of organizational culture and identifies areas for improvement; FCCS consultants help interpret results and develop action plans.
• Leadership development programs: Build management and leadership skills to enhance employee engagement and strengthen team and organizational culture.
• Succession management and planning: Give employees peace of mind that strong leaders are recognized with promotion, and careful consideration is given to their replacements.
• Organizational development consulting: Targeted consulting helps assess and develop programs to improve organizational culture.
